The same video would take a creator more than 3 hours to edit: working out the chords by ear, writing the tab note by note, animating every change. Here, FlowChord listened to the recording and wrote it all; the touch-ups were made in the editor before exporting.

In the creator program, your site’s address carries your code: the students who sign up through it are yours, and you earn a share of what they pay.
Your first video is free, once per account: FlowChord reads the chords and lyrics of its first 30 seconds, and you export them in SD. After that, you pay $0.25 per minute of song, billed by the second (a 3:30 song costs $0.88), for the whole song in HD. You pay from a balance you add funds to with $5, $10, $25, or $50, and the larger amounts come with extra balance: $25 gives you $26.25, $50 gives you $55. The balance you add never expires, you see the price of each song before anything is analysed, and you can unlock your free video the same way. You don't need a subscription. If you make more, the monthly plan costs less: Creator is $8 a month with 100 minutes of song, and a plan's minutes don't roll over.
No. Film with whatever you already use, then upload the files: MP4, WebM or MOV up to 10 minutes, and audio from a recorder if you have one. To record yourself along to a song, use Play Along.
Yes. Create a Play Along project, upload the song, and record yourself with your camera and microphone while it plays, on a computer. Your take stays in time with the song, and FlowChord adds the chords and the lyrics when you finish.
Yes. A project takes up to 4 videos and 4 audio files of the same take, with 2 videos on screen at a time. FlowChord lines them up by ear when you create the project, and you can move any file by hand.
Only when it is sure: a phrase broken off and played again. It tells you what it cut, and each cut is an ordinary cut on your timeline that you can move or put back. Anything less certain is left alone.
Detection works from the audio. Often the whole song comes out right and you go straight to export. When a chord is off, pick it on the timeline, choose the right one, and the fix can apply to that chord everywhere in the song.
Chords, lyrics and the video each have their own styles, and vertical and horizontal videos keep their own settings. Export is an MP4 in 9:16, 16:9 or both: the whole song in HD for a paid video, up to 30 seconds in SD for your free one. The chord sheet downloads as a PDF from any project, in English, Portuguese or Spanish.
Guitar, acoustic or electric. The chord diagrams are drawn for six strings in standard tuning. Other instruments and tunings are on the roadmap.
