Your site's analytics

See who comes to your site, who watches your videos, who signs up and where they come from, and what FlowChord Intelligence notices.

Updated November 5, 2026

Site analytics shows how your site is doing: who comes, who watches your videos, who signs up to FlowChord after a visit, and where they all come from. Your home shows the main numbers in Your site, at a glance, and every number leads to the page with more.

The numbers count people, never who they are. You see totals only, each as its number however small, and never anyone’s name or e-mail.

Before you start

  • Have a published site. A draft is never counted, and neither are previews or your own visits.
  • Numbers land within minutes of a visit. Your first days show counts like “3 of 41” and no comparisons until there is enough to compare.

Steps

See your site’s numbers on your home

  1. Open your home. Your site, at a glance shows Visitors, Sign-ups from your site, Active-plan viewers and Video views for the last 28 days.
  2. Press the “i” beside a number to read what it counts.
  3. Press See on a card to open its section in Site analytics, or Site analytics for all of it.

Read Site analytics

  1. Press Site in the bar, then Analytics. The page opens on Overview; each section below is a tab in the row across the top.
  2. Under Overview, pick a number to draw it day by day. The paler bars are the same days of the period before.
  3. Visit to sign-up counts the people at each step: visited, watched a video, pressed sign-up, signed up. Each step is a share of visitors, never of the step before.
  4. Who watches splits everyone who watched into signed out, signed in without a plan, and signed in with a plan, and the plans one by one.
  5. Countries shows the countries on a map and in a table you can sort by any column. Every country shows its visitors and what they did, however few.
  6. Videos lists every video on your site. Press one to open its page.

Beside Analytics, Requests lists the songs students asked for on Play — read Be found by students in FlowChord’s showcase.

Change the period

  1. Press the period at the top: Last 7 days, Last 28 days or Last 90 days, or Pick days… to pick the days.
  2. Beside it, choose what to compare with: the same number of days just before, or nothing.

The period you pick stays as you go from your home to Site analytics and to a video.

See one video

  1. In Videos, press a video.
  2. See its people per day. A new video is compared with your last 5 videos at the same age, never with days it wasn’t live.
  3. How far people watch shows, for each 5% of the video, the share of views still playing. When the cut has markers, the song’s parts are named under the bars.
  4. Where its plays came from groups the sites people came from: search, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp, your site’s other pages, direct and others.
  5. Press Open project to open the cut your site plays in the editor.

Options

  • All countries: pick a country to see every section for its visitors alone. Any country that sent a visitor can be picked.
  • Order videos by: on your home, order your top videos by Trending, Most views, Most people, Watched longest, Most active-plan viewers or Most sign-ups.
  • Take off site: on a video’s page, take it off your site. Its project and its numbers stay.

Tips

  • A view counts once 3 seconds have played, and each person counts once per video: playing it again, reloading the page or coming back later the same month is still one view. Opening a page is not a view.
  • A visit ends after 30 minutes without a page.
  • Visitors are counted once a month per connection and browser. One person on two devices may count twice, and someone who came in two months counts once in each.
  • A video is finished when 95% of it has played. The curve of how far people watch is drawn from 100 views; until then, its four milestones.
  • How much a group watched is said only for 30 people or more; under that, “too few to compare”.
  • A sign-up is yours when the account was made within 60 days of a visit and your site was the last one opened. It is filed under the video watched last before signing up.
  • Trending compares each video’s last 7 days with its own usual week. A video live for under 14 days says New instead.
  • Your plan and signed-in state are counted as they were at the moment of each view. Plans come from FlowChord’s plan list, so a new plan shows as its own part.

FlowChord Intelligence

Insights says what stands out in your numbers: a video growing faster than usual, a country that brings more viewers with a plan than visitors, people leaving a video early, and more. Each one says what kind it is (Observed, Pattern, Possible reason or Suggestion) and how sure it is. Press How we worked this out to see the rule, its numbers and what it needs.

  • Insights start once your site has 500 visitors or 4 weeks live.
  • A video’s growth is said from 1.5× its usual week and 50 people; an early drop when 40% of its views stop early; a country when its share of viewers with a plan is 2× its share of visitors.
  • Your shorter videos (under 4 minutes) and longer ones are compared too.
  • The two surest insights also show on your home. Not now puts one aside.

Common problems

My site shows no numbers

A draft or an unpublished site is never counted. Publish it, then open it yourself on another device without signing in: your own visits are never counted.

Today’s numbers look low

Today counts until now, so it is a partial day. If the numbers stop moving for over 60 minutes on a busy site, a note says they are late; they catch up.

A video says New instead of a change

It wasn’t live for the whole period before, so a change would not be fair. It is compared with your last videos at the same age instead.
