Delete your account

Delete your FlowChord account and everything in it from the account menu. What goes, what stays, and what to do first.

Updated October 22, 2026

You can delete your FlowChord account yourself, from the account menu. It deletes your profile and every project with its files, and it can’t be undone. Read what goes and what to do first before you start.

Before you start

  • Download your data first if you want a copy of anything: see Download a copy of your data. Videos you exported are already yours, on your devices.
  • Your balance is lost. Whatever is left in your wallet is forfeited when the account is deleted; the dialog says how much. If you topped up within the last week, write to us through Support first to get that top-up’s unused paid balance back. Extra balance and gifts are never refunded.
  • Your monthly plan stops at once, and the rest of its month isn’t refunded.
  • A creator’s account is deleted through support, once its commissions are settled — see The creator program.

Steps

  1. Open the account menu and choose Delete account.
  2. Read the dialog: what is deleted, what your wallet holds, and the plan that stops.
  3. Type DELETE in the box.
  4. Press Delete account.
  5. Wait while FlowChord deletes everything. You are signed out, and the sign-in page says your account was deleted.

Tips

  • If you only want to stop paying every month, cancel your plan on the Plan page instead — see Monthly plans.
  • If you can’t sign in, write to [email protected] from the e-mail address on your account; FlowChord confirms by e-mail and deletes it for you.

Common problems

  • The dialog says Your account is in the creator program. Write to support to delete it Your account is in the creator program: write to us through Support.
  • The delete button stays grey. Type the word exactly as shown (capitals don’t matter), and wait while the dialog reads your wallet. If it says your wallet couldn’t be read, wait a moment and try again.
  • Couldn't delete your account. Try again, or write to support Your account is still there, nothing is left half-deleted, and pressing Delete account again finishes the job.
  • Too many tries in a minute. Wait a moment and try again Wait a minute, then press it again.
