The creator program and your earnings
Share your FlowChord link, earn a share of what the people you bring pay, and follow it all on your Earnings page.
Updated November 6, 2026
Creators — music teachers, players, people with an audience — share a link to FlowChord and earn a share of what the customers they bring pay for top-ups and monthly plans. FlowChord pays them once a month, through Wise. Everything you need to follow it is on your Earnings page.
Before you start
- Publishing your site makes you a creator. The first time you publish your site, your account joins the program on its standard deal, and your code is your site’s address (
yourname.flowchord.studio→?ref=yourname). The publish window says what joining means and asks you to tick that you accept the creator program’s terms; it publishes only once you do. Without a site, the program is by invitation: FlowChord adds you by the e-mail address of your FlowChord account, with a creator agreement — write to us through Support. - Once you are in, Earnings appears in your account menu.
- You sign the creator agreement in the app. When you join, FlowChord e-mails you the steps, and Earnings lists them at the top: the agreement, Wise, your first payout. Payouts wait for the agreement.
- FlowChord pays through Wise (wise.com), a money transfer service. Wise pays into a Wise account opened with the e-mail it is paid to; opening one is free, and you can do it when your first payment arrives.
- Your bank or Pix details go to Wise, never to FlowChord. You give them to Wise yourself, in your Wise account.
Steps
- Open the account menu and choose Earnings.
- Under Your links, press Copy site link (for your students) or Copy invite link (for other creators and teachers). On a phone, Share opens its share sheet. The same links are on your home.
- Share the link wherever you post, and say each time that it is a paid partnership.
- Come back to the page to follow What your link brought and What you earned.
Options
Getting paid: the agreement and Wise
- Sign the agreement. On Earnings, open the Creator Program Agreement, read it in English, Portuguese or Spanish, type your full legal name and agree. That is your signature: FlowChord keeps the record and a signed copy, and e-mails you a copy right away — a PDF of what you signed, in the language you read it in. You can also read it on the same page.
- Tell FlowChord which e-mail your Wise account uses. In the Wise step, select Set up Wise. Choose the e-mail you use for FlowChord — if your Wise account uses it, or if you will open a free one with it — or Another e-mail, which FlowChord confirms with a code sent to it (below). Select Continue. FlowChord then sets up your payout with Wise from your name and that address; there is nothing else to fill in. If Wise can’t pay you this way, FlowChord writes to you to set it up.
- Your first payout. The checklist is done once your first payment has been sent. Every payout is reviewed by FlowChord before it goes.
Until the agreement is signed and Wise is set up, no payout is sent to you — your commissions are still counted and wait for you. FlowChord reminds you by e-mail once a week for a few weeks; the same checklist is always on Earnings.
Your Wise e-mail
Wise pays the e-mail you told FlowChord. If your Wise account uses another address, give it — the first time from Set up Wise, later by changing it:
- On Earnings, in the Wise step (or under your deal, once the checklist is done), select Change.
- Type the e-mail of your Wise account and select Send code. FlowChord sends a code to that address.
- Type the code and select Confirm. The code works for a short while; if it expired, go back and ask for a new one.
Nothing changes until the code is typed. Then Wise pays to the new address, FlowChord e-mails the address of your FlowChord account that it changed, and payments wait a few days after the change — the page says until when. If you didn’t make the change, reply to that e-mail at once. While a payment is on its way, the change waits until it arrives.
When a payment is sent
Every payment is reviewed by FlowChord first. When it leaves:
- FlowChord e-mails you the amount, what reaches you after Wise’s fee, and the day to receive it by. The same card is at the top of Earnings.
- Wise e-mails the address you gave. It greets you by your first name, and its button leads to an address that starts with
https://wise.com. - Sign in to Wise with that e-mail, or open your free account with it. Wise may ask for your CPF (in Brazil) and a photo ID to confirm it’s you.
- Choose where the money goes: a Pix key or a bank account in your name.
You have 10 days to receive it. If you miss them, Wise sends the money back to FlowChord and it goes out again with your next payment: nothing is lost.
FlowChord never asks for your bank details, a password or a code. If an e-mail looks odd, don’t click anything: go to wise.com yourself, or reply to FlowChord’s e-mail.
Your two links
- Your site's link is your site’s address. Students who sign up there follow you, and count as your customers from your site.
- Invite creators opens FlowChord’s own website with your code, for other creators and teachers.
- Both carry the same code and earn alike; each shows what it brought apart: visits, sign-ups, paying customers. Every figure is its number, however small, and never says who.
- Your code is your site’s address and changes only with it: you can’t edit it. When you change the address, your links change too, and a link with the old code keeps counting for 90 days.
Where they came from
Under your links, Where they came from shows each way people reached you — Your site, Invite and FlowChord showcase — with the visits, followers, sign-ups and paying customers each brought, and whether it earns a commission. Your invite counts no followers.
FlowChord showcase is FlowChord’s: people who find you in FlowChord’s own showcase of creators and come to your site from there are never your referrals and earn no commission. A student who came through your site or your link first stays yours, even if they later follow other creators there.
How a customer becomes yours
- Someone opens your link and creates a FlowChord account within the number of days the page states. Your link must be the last creator link they opened before signing up.
- They become your customer when their account is created, and that never changes.
- Only new accounts count: a person who already has an account can’t be brought by a link.
- You can’t use your link for your own account or for accounts you control.
- The page shows each customer only as a code — never their name or e-mail.
A visit is someone opening your link; it becomes a sign-up only when the rules above are met. So Visits, Sign-ups and Paying customers are rarely the same numbers.
What you earn
- A share of what each customer pays for top-ups and monthly plans: a higher share during their first months, then a lower one. Your exact deal is written under Your deal; section 19 of the Terms of use states the standard one.
- It is counted on what the customer paid, after discounts and before taxes and payment fees. Extra balance, bonuses and gifts never earn.
- The Student plan pays more: a share of its own on every Student plan payment, for as long as the student pays it, whatever your deal and whenever they joined. Your deal states it after your deal.
- A customer keeps the deal in force when they joined: a later change applies only to the customers who come after it, unless it raises what you earn.
- Commissions on payments in reais are counted and paid in reais; dollars and reais are never added together.
The Practice Fund
Beside what the customers you bring pay, every Student Plan payment feeds the Practice Fund: 30% of it is shared among the creators whose videos that student practiced during the month it pays for, by the time practiced on each.
- Every student counts, whoever brought them, or if nobody did. A student who practiced only your videos, even for one minute, gives you the whole 30% of that payment. A student who practiced nothing gives it to no creator: FlowChord keeps it.
- Practice is the time your video plays in the practice player while its page is in view. Your own practice, accounts without the Student Plan (their free videos and the preview included) and other plans never count.
- A month is shared when it closes: at the student’s next payment, or when their plan ends. Each part is then a commission like your others: held, approved and paid with them, and taken back if the payment is refunded or lost in a dispute.
- Your plan must include a site: the Creator plan today, also during the week a failed renewal is held. Time practiced on a day your plan had no site, or while your participation is paused, stays with FlowChord; it never goes to the other creators.
- What you see: on Earnings, under Practice Fund, the fund month by month, in each currency — what you earned, the minutes practiced on your videos and how many students practiced them. Never who.
If you leave the Creator plan
- Switching to pay as you go takes effect at the end of the month you paid for. Then your site goes offline, and practice on your videos stops counting for the fund from that day; its part stays with FlowChord.
- What you already earned from the fund is still paid.
- You keep earning on the customers you brought, the 20% of every Student Plan payment included, for as long as you are in the program.
- Back on a plan with a site, you are in the fund again from that day, never for the days in between.
Leaving the program
- Not for you? Open Earnings and press Leave program, last on the page, then confirm. The link at the end of the program’s e-mails opens the same question.
- It takes effect at once: your link and your site stop bringing people to your program, and what the people you brought pay earns nothing from then on.
- What you earned before is still yours. It is approved and paid under the usual rules, and your last payment goes out even below the minimum.
- FlowChord stops writing to you about the program. Your Earnings page stays, so you can follow that last payment.
- Changed your mind? Write to [email protected] and we can bring you back.
From earned to paid
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pending | Held for a number of days in case of a refund; the card says the day the soonest is approved, and each commission says until when |
| Approved | Ready for your next payout |
| On its way | In a payout Wise is sending |
| Paid | Wise confirmed the money was sent |
| On hold | A customer disputed a payment; it waits for the outcome |
FlowChord pays once a month, through Wise, by bank transfer or Pix, once your approved commissions reach the minimum the page shows; below it, they carry over to the next month. A higher minimum is e-mailed to you before it applies, and the page says from when. Every payout is reviewed by FlowChord before it is sent. Wise’s fee comes out of each payment: the Payouts tab shows what you received and the fee. You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn.
A payment that is refunded or charged back earns nothing; if its commission was already paid, it comes off your next payout.
Tips
- Say it is a paid partnership every time you share: #ad in the US (FTC rules), “publi” in Brazil (CONAR rules). The page reminds you.
- No spam: share with people who follow you, not in mass messages or comments.
- The Commissions and Payouts tabs list everything; press Load more for older lines.
Common problems
- Earnings isn’t in your account menu. Your account isn’t in the program, or you are signed in with another account. Write to us through Support.
- Someone signed up but isn’t in your numbers. They may have opened another creator’s link after yours, signed up after the days your link is remembered, or already had an account.
- The page says Sign the agreement to be paid. Your payouts wait for the Creator Program Agreement: open it from the checklist on the same page, read it and sign it.
- The page says Waiting for your payout account. Your payout isn’t set up with Wise yet. Sign the agreement on the same page, then tell FlowChord which e-mail your Wise account uses (Set up Wise); Wise is set up right after, or FlowChord writes to you if it has to be set up another way.
- Wise’s e-mail never came. Look in spam for an e-mail from Wise sent to the address you gave, and check that address on Earnings. Still nothing? Reply to FlowChord’s e-mail about the payment.
- The page says Nothing from the Practice Fund yet. A student’s month is shared only when it closes, at their next payment or when their plan ends; its part is then held like any commission before it is approved.
- A payout came back. The bank returned it: its commissions become payable again, and FlowChord checks your account before the next one.
- You want to delete your account. A creator’s account is deleted through support, once its commissions are settled — see Delete your account.
