The Student Plan

The Student Plan is the plan for students. It is paid monthly, in your account’s currency — its price is shown in that currency on the Plan page and wherever you subscribe — and opens everything in the practice player, on every teacher’s site. Before you start

Every account gets 3 free videos when it is created, for good: the first ones it opens, on any teacher’s site. The plan is for what comes after. Signing up on a teacher’s site is in Start practicing from a teacher’s site.

Steps

Subscribe

1. In the practice player, press Get Student where the offer appears: on a video past your free ones, on Download PDF, or on Record.
2. Pay on Stripe’s secure page.
3. You come back to the lesson you were on, and what you asked for goes on.

Move up from Student to Creator

1. On the Plan page, press Upgrade on the Creator card.
2. Read the dialog: what you pay today — the days left of the month you paid for are taken off it — and that everything in Student stays with you.
3. Press Upgrade now. Creator starts at once.

What the plan includes

• Every video published on every teacher’s site, in the practice player.
• The chord sheet PDF of every video, in the key you choose.
• Record: record yourself playing along with the teacher’s video, then open it in the editor like a creator. Nothing of it is analysed again or charged: the chords, lyrics and tab are the teacher’s. It exports whole and in HD.

The Creator plan includes everything in the Student Plan, beside its minutes of song: a creator does not need both.

30% of each payment goes to the teachers whose videos you practice during the month it pays for, by the time you practice each: the Practice Fund. Teachers see only how many students practiced their videos and for how long, never who.

Cancel

Open the account menu, choose Plan, and switch to Pay as you go. The plan lasts until the end of the month you paid for.

Common problems

I subscribed but the video is still held. Reload the page: the plan is read when the page opens.
